De Blauwbloezen: een hommage door... / Les Tuniques Bleues: des histoires courtes par...
is a 120-page hommage to the famous comic book series Les Tuniques Bleues (The Bluecoats), originally created by Salvérius, Lambil and Cauvin. 19 French, Belgian and Dutch comic authors were asked to draw their take on the legendary comic. Les Tuniques Bleues takes place during the American Civil War. Though the many battles and ambushes, soldiers Blutch and Chesterfield try to make the best of it, resulting in hilarious and awkward situations. Aimée created the 6-page story Le tambour, about a young drummer boy who meets the main characters after they fought a devestating battle. For the Dutch edition, Aimée also had the honour of drawing the cover image (as seen on the left).
